VGHS Season 2 Trailer is Here

July 13, 2013 by Richard Vincenti Jr Leave a Comment

A while ago we mentioned that season 2 of Video Game High School (VGHS) was going to happen after raising over $800,000 in a kickstarter campaign. Now, we finally get to catch glimpse of what’s in store for season 2 in this new trailer.

Video Game High School is a series set in an alternate reality where professional video gaming becomes the biggest spectator sport in the world. It follows Brian D, an aspiring pro gamer who lands an invitation to VGHS, the most prestigious gaming academy in the world. Think Hogwarts, but instead of spells and magic wands, it’s headshots and IBM Model M keyboards!

You can catch the previous season of VHGS  along with any new content at Rocket Jump.

How Does Superman Shave? Bill Nye Chimes In

June 8, 2013 by Richard Vincenti Jr Leave a Comment

Gillette is running some interesting ads about how Superman shaves and they are asking many famous faces to come up with their best answer. The ads are part of a promotion for the upcoming film Superman: Man of Steel. I’m actually enjoying a lot of the responses in each video, even though I know it’s most likely going to be all about a Gillette razor. The videos are no less interesting though, especially when we get to hear Bill Nye offer up his best theory.

When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit
or does the suit make the man?

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968.”

Carrie Fisher Takes Back Confirmation of Role

March 6, 2013 by Richard Vincenti Jr Leave a Comment

Leia

It appears that Carrie Fisher is now taking back the confirmation that she will be in the next Star Wars film. A representative on behalf of Fisher apparently told CNN that she was “joking” around and that, “Nothing has been announced.”.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that it won’t happen but it’s definitely not official. I guess we will have to just wait until we get some more information from Disney.
